The large birds-of-prey flight show takes place from late March through late October. Outside the peak season, there is a winter program.
Grand Birds of Prey Flight Show
Experience eagles, vultures, and falcons up close and marvel at their impressive flying skills during our grand birds of prey show.
Upon registration and with a sufficient number of guests, the flight show can also take place on other days. Please contact us for more information.

Watch the arctic foxes being fed up close and learn fascinating facts about their way of life.
Dogs
If you keep your dog on a leash, you’re welcome to bring it to the park. However, dogs are not permitted in the immediate vicinity of the birds-of-prey show. For one thing, dogs can startle the smaller birds of prey; for another, the large birds of prey pose a danger to the dogs. Areas closed to dogs are marked with signs. Park visitors with dogs are asked to strictly observe the barriers!
Birthday Party
Celebrate a special children’s birthday party at Potzberg Wildlife Park!
Upon request, we’ll provide you with matching invitation cards at cost. At the park, you can enjoy a picnic together and experience our flight show featuring impressive birds of prey. The birthday child will receive a large feather as a souvenir and will even get to hold a bird of prey in their arms—almost like a real falconer. Handcarts
Handcarts available for rent.
We have several handcarts available for our visitors, which make it easy to explore the wildlife park, especially with small children. Bags, snacks, and other items can also be transported in them with ease. The handcarts can be rented for a fee of 3.00 euros. As a deposit, we ask that you leave a form of identification with us for the duration of the rental.

Our Log Cabin
A Cozy Stop at the Wildlife Park
Located right at the entrance to the Potzberg Wildlife Park, our cozy log cabin invites you to take a relaxing break during your visit. Here, you can enjoy food and drinks and soak up the special atmosphere of the wildlife park.
The interior offers seating for about 50 guests. When the weather is nice, the two sun terraces in front of the log cabin provide additional space to relax. The upper terrace can accommodate another 40 guests. For organizational reasons, our dining facilities are available exclusively to visitors of the wildlife park.
Please Note
- Please note that the log cabin may remain closed in the event of very inclement weather or low visitor traffic. The wildlife park itself is, of course, open during regular hours. If you would like to check whether the restaurant is open before your visit, you can reach us at 06385 / 6249.
- During the winter months, the log cabin is generally open on weekends and when weather conditions permit.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the log cabin and on the upper terrace.
Dogs are also not allowed in these areas.
